Bill Porter (Red Pine) is an acclaimed translator and interpreter of Chinese and Sanskrit texts including the Heart Sutra, Diamond Sutra, and Platform Sutra. Ken McLeod, a senior Western teacher of Buddhism, is also one of the most innovative. Formerly a translator for Kalu Rinpoche and other Tibetan Buddhist lamas, Ken consistently goes beyond standard terminology to express the essence of Buddha's teachings in clear, precise, contemporary English. An Arrow to the Heart is KenŐs recently published commentary on the Heart Sutra.
